NHCX is available on the Hospital, Lab, Enterprise and LargeEnterprise plans. Enterprise and LargeEnterprise include it; Hospital and Lab can add it when buying or renewing their subscription. Clinic and Free plans cannot use NHCX.
The add-on is ₹600 per month (2026). It is billed as part of the subscription, so GST and any yearly/reseller discount apply to it in the same way as the base price. Like every other price, the NHCX amount rises 10% a year with inflation correction — ₹660 in 2027, ₹726 in 2028. The live figure for the current year is always shown on the pricing page and in the checkout breakdown when you buy or renew.
Registering an NHCX participant code is separate from buying the add-on: any Hospital, Lab, Enterprise or LargeEnterprise org with a valid subscription can register, but only orgs with NHCX entitled on their plan can process claims. See NHCX Participant ID Generation.
Large Enterprise plans get custom pricing based on bed count and user requirements. Contact us for a quote.
For current pricing in rupees, visit the live pricing page. Prices are updated annually.
Each plan includes a set number of users. If you need more, you can add extra users at a per-user-per-month rate. Only active users count toward your bill. Marking a user as Inactive removes them from billing.
For example: a nursing home on the Hospital plan with 6 active users pays the base price + 2 extra users.
Users and beds are linked: 1 user = 2.5 beds. There is no separate bed field —
beds are always derived from your user count (beds = users × 2.5), so 20 users =
50 beds and 40 users = 100 beds.
Two limits grow out of that number:
users × 2.5).users × 2.5 plus a 50% buffer for in-progress lag.At 20 users / 50 beds and above, the user limit is lifted (unlimited users and visitors), but the bed rule still applies — you pay per bed by setting your user count, and in-progress inpatient beds are still capped.
See Beds, Users & Plan Limits for the full policy, including downsizing rules.
Yearly billing gives you a 10% discount compared to paying month-to-month. Switch between monthly and yearly from Admin > Billing.
One-time implementation and training fee covers:
Data migration from existing systems is billed separately.
All prices are exclusive of GST. GST is added at the applicable rate during billing.

Q: How much does NICE HMS cost? A: NICE HMS offers paid plans scaled to your organization size. Visit the pricing page for current rates. Yearly billing saves 10%.
Q: Is there a free plan? A: No. Registration is free, but using HMS modules requires a paid subscription.
Q: What happens when I exceed my user limit? A: The system prompts you to either upgrade your plan or add extra users. Below 20 users / 50 beds the user limit is enforced. At 20 users / 50 beds and above there is no user limit — you can add unlimited users, but the bed rule still applies to in-progress inpatient beds.
Q: Can I switch plans mid-cycle? A: Yes. When you upgrade, the unused portion of your current plan is prorated toward the new plan. Contact support for plan changes.
Q: Is NHCX (insurance claims) included in my plan? A: It depends on the plan. Enterprise and LargeEnterprise include NHCX. Hospital and Lab can add it as an optional monthly charge when buying or renewing a subscription. Clinic and Free plans cannot use NHCX.
Q: How much is the NHCX option? A: ₹600 per month in 2026. It inflates 10% a year, so it becomes ₹660 in 2027. GST and any yearly discount apply to it like any other subscription charge.
Q: Do I need the NHCX option just to register my NHCX participant code? A: No. Registering a participant code only needs a paid NHCX-capable plan (Hospital, Lab, Enterprise or LargeEnterprise) with a valid subscription. The option is needed to process claims and pre-authorizations. See NHCX Participant ID Generation.
Q: Does the extra-user price differ by plan? A: No. Every paid plan charges the same per-extra-user-per-month rate (₹242 in 2026, on a ₹200 base that inflates 10% a year). This is the same rate Enterprise has always used.
Q: Do visiting doctors count as users? A: Only if their status is Active. Mark visiting doctors as Inactive to exclude them from billing while keeping their profile available for prescriptions and referrals.
